Sprawl

sprawl

After a year of publicly yearning for my tail, it would be remiss of me not to show you what all the fuss was about.

I’m pretty much ridiculous, because all I stare at when I see this hot pic is your gorgeous feet.

Haha, I don’t find that at all ridiculous. In fact I think my feet are the most interesting part of this photograph. Toes make great shapes.

It’s all about saving those pennies!

Such a cute tail! One of these days I’ll actually save enough for one…

Took me a long time to take the plunge, but I adore it. It’s very very primal. And real fur almost seems to move on its own. I love it.

Oh, what a lovely tail you have. I agree with Kitty. Your feet!

When I actually manage to get them in shot, I’ll confess I like my feet very much. Thank you!

  5. 10/02/2013 at 02:30

Great photo. I want to stroke that tail..

Thank you! It is very strokable, I’ll confess.

Well, it is real fur. I always forget how real fur feels until I have some. Or did you mean it looks so natural as in it looks like I really have a tail? Because I like that, haha.

I love the tail, your pose and how it highlights your feet; what a striking image!

Thank you! It was lovely to get back to photographing myself. It’s been a while.

Ah… sprawling is lovely, isn’t it?

  9. 10/02/2013 at 08:21

If you had nine tails, I would call you a “gumiho”. I have to agree with Red Vinyl Kitty that the toes are interesting in this photo. I love how your toes twist on you right foot. :)

      10/02/2013 at 09:01

My toes are good models when they’re in shot. Thank you!

*wags tail* I’m very pleased with it. Definitely worth what I paid for it.

Great photo! Love the simple colors and straight lines in the background and then the curvy lines of your body, including the tail. Lovely!

Thank you! I’m really happy with how it came out too. Glad you like it.

SilverHubby loves the tail and plans on getting me one. I think the position and the vulnerability is just breathtaking.

Thank you! The tails are utterly luxuriously gorgeous. I am very in love.

  13. 10/02/2013 at 12:18

Love the tail. My SO (@badkittyerotica) keeps encouraging me to get one but I don’t know if I should get a fox tail (I’m his foxette) or a bunny tail (see my name).

There is something to be said for curling up with a tail on. Very cool image indeed.

    • Harper Eliot
      10/02/2013 at 12:59

Oh, I fully intend to get a bunny tail as well. It was just a matter of which to go for first. And thank you!

  14. 10/02/2013 at 17:46

If I didn’t have a tail I would defo be having tail envy… as it is, I am having location envy as the colours and light within this image are superb. I love that you went with the daylight and also the stark landing? location rather than a bed or sofa… there is something very natural about it, like a cat who can make sprawling on any surface comfortable!

It’s actually on the floor of my dressing room, and I was as surprised by the colours as (it seems) you are. As you know, I’m a fan of the stark background. I hadn’t thought about it before, but I love the idea of the sprawling cat, making any surface comfortable! That’s lovely. Thank you lovely. xx

  15. 10/02/2013 at 18:49

And a lovely tail it is.

      10/02/2013 at 19:37

      Well, I certainly like it.

  16. 10/02/2013 at 19:02

I love everything about this image , the technical side through to yourself lay like a peaceful yet vulnerable animal.

Yes! Someone used the word ‘animal’. That is exactly what the tail is all about. Thank you!

  25. 18/02/2013 at 03:58

Tails are not something I ever thought I would be into, but I’ve seen some lovely images of girls wearing them that have changed my mind. This tops them all because the others always look posed. Your position perfectly captures a sleeping kitty, which I know from your reply above is what you were going for. Oh how I’ve longed to be able to sleep any which way like my cat does!! If you ever tire of the corner on the floor, the corner of my bed is always open for you. ;)

And like someone else said, I can’t help but be distracted by your feet. I want to kiss and nibble your little piggies and stroke your tail. :)

      18/02/2013 at 11:13

Hehe, I’m so delighted with that. Although I’m a pup, not a kitty. Strange – something about loving cats makes me not want to eroticise them. AND – I can’t bear having my feet touched which I think is such a shame because I have lovely feet, haha. Thank you hun! I will dream of curling up on the end of your bed.
